DESCRIPTION:On 29 May, from 14h30, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ( https://deec.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/ ) (DEEC) from Instituto Superior Técnico, together with INESC-ID ( https://www.inesc-id.pt/ ), will mark the Dia da Energia 2026. The event will take place at the Técnico Innovation Center (TIC) and will bring together several specialists in the field.\nThe panel “Storage and Market” will address topics such as energy storage, commercialisation, and the relationship between industry and academia. The second session, “Resilience and the Power Grid”, will be dedicated to transmission, distribution, operations, security, and grid robustness. The final panel, “Smart Cities and Smart Grids”, will focus on mobility, urban energy, and public policy.
