Main InterestsJorge Baptista is Associate Professor in the U. Algarve, Portugal (1992-) and researcher of Spoken Language Systems Lab (L2F), INESC-ID Lisboa (2005-). Current research interests: in NLP: Named Entity Recognition, Events and Relations Extraction, Parsing, Semantic Role Labeling and Computer Assisted Language Learning; in Linguistics: Lexicon-Syntax of (distributional) verbs, nouns (and support verbs), adverbs and (verbal) idioms of Portuguese. Linguistic coordinator of the STRING project (https://string.l2f.inesc-id.pt) and the REAP.PT project (ICALL)
