I graduated in Architecture from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and also studied at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) during my Master’s. Since 2016, I have been an early-stage researcher at INESC-ID and a teaching assistant at IST. In 2023, I defended my PhD thesis at IST, which focused on algorithmic design strategies to support the design, analysis, optimization, and fabrication of building envelopes. Meanwhile, I have also worked as an Algorithmic Design Specialist at BUILT CoLAB. Currently, I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at IST.
