Evaluating over hundreds of scientists’ profiles, the ranking is based on a Discipline H-index (D-index) metric, which measures publications and citation values for a specific discipline, in this case, Computer Science. For this edition, only scientists with a D-index of at least 30 for academic publications were included.

The goal for this ranking is to recognise the value of Computer Science research and its contributions in addressing complex challenges, from healthcare to security and privacy.
