The Integrated Access Management System (SIGA SNS, or just SIGA) is being implemented in the National Health Service (SNS), which facilitates the access of citizens who use health care appropriate to their needs and allows their free access to the SNS, namely in areas where service levels are still not satisfactory in terms of compliance with response times. The SIGA SNS results from the priority defined for Health in the Program of the XXI Constitutional Government and constitutes itself as a system of integral monitoring of access to health care in the NHS, centered on the citizen, which articulates the different levels of care and the various services and types of response, from a transversal and integrated perspective, allowing a complete view of the user's path in the search for health care in the NHS and contributing for the NHS response to be ensured in an appropriate and continuous way throughout his life. SIGA SNS is being managed and operated by the ACSS (Administração Central do Sistema de Saúde I.P.). In the context of the SIGA SNS initiative this specific project shall provide services in the areas of project management, architecture of information systems, specification and validation of information systems, with the following objectives: (O.1) Promote the adoption of a continuous improvement process approach; (O.2) Support ACSS in defining and managing the SIGA SNS project, namely providing support and training related to the adoption of project management methodologies, good practices and tools; (O.3) Support ACSS in the definition of the SIGA SNS system, namely by providing support and training related to the adoption of methods, good practices and tools for process modeling, requirements and acceptance tests specification; (O.4) Contribute to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the ACSS within the scope of SIGA SNS.
