Téc4Defence
Organised by various student groups of Instituto Superior Técnico, Téc4Defence aims to promote a space for sharing innovation and technological demonstration in the Defence sector. It also seeks to strengthen the role of science and engineering in building the future of National Defence and integration at European level, through the participation of industry, the Armed Forces and research centers.
The program will feature demonstrations and presentations of emerging technologies, roundtables on innovation in the Defense sector and strategic debates focused on national policy and the future of European security.
INESC-ID will participate with demonstrations on encryption systems and the projects SEQURED and ORQESTRA, by Ricardo Chaves, Nuno Neves, Luís Marques, José Antunes, Pedro Martins, Manuel Goulão and Diogo Marques, from the High-Performance Computing Architectures and Systems scientific area.
In addition to INESC-ID, the exhibition space will be attended by INESC-MN, the Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear (IPFN), the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR), the Navy, the Air Force, and the Army.

INESC-ID, “Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores: Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Lisboa” is a Research and Development and Innovation Organization (R&D+i) in the fields of Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering.
