Security & Privacy Thematic Line – Open Researcher Meeting
On 26 February, the Security & Privacy Thematic Line will hold an open internal meeting, hosted by the TL coordinator, Daniel Castro, bringing together researchers to present and discuss their recent work and current research interests.
This session aims to foster internal collaboration, strengthen synergies across research groups, and provide a comprehensive overview of ongoing activities within the thematic line. Given the broad scope of topics where SP-TL researchers are working on (privacy-enhancing technologies, secure system, trustworthy AI, post-quantum cryptography, hardware implementations, etc) the meeting is open to all INESC-ID researchers.
It may be particularly relevant for colleagues preparing proposals for European funding calls (e.g., Horizon Europe), as it offers an opportunity to identify in-house expertise, explore potential partnerships, and assess institutional competence in specific cybersecurity domains. The session will combine short research presentations with informal networking, creating space for discussion, idea exchange, and the emergence of new collaborative initiatives.
Date & Time: 26 February, 14h00 – 16h00
Location: Room 9 (ground floor), INESC-ID
Meeting Agenda:
- 14:00–14:15 – Welcome
- 14:15–15:30 – Research Presentations (5–10 minutes per researcher)
- 15:30–16:00 – Networking
