Odyssey 2026 –The Speaker and Language Recognition Workshop

Odyssey 2026 is a workshop on speaker and language recognition, aiming to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment for knowledge exchange, networking, and the development of practical approaches to the field’s current problems. It will expand the main topic toward broader speaker characterisation, addressing diversity in accents, linguistic backgrounds, emotional states, physical traits, and speech‑affecting conditions. The workshop highlights the relevance of these advances and the accompanying privacy and security concerns, bringing together a diverse mix of researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and practitioners to examine open challenges and implications for real‑world systems. The organising committee includes INESC-ID and Instituto Superior Técnico and the programme will offer an engaging combination of keynote talks, panel discussions, poster presentations, and technical sessions.

Date: 23-26 June

Location: Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon
