A month after winning the APDC award, Pedro Lobo, former INESC-ID master’s student, was honoured with the Professor Luís Vidigal Award! It recognises the innovative work developed during his master’s thesis “Supporting Raw Data Copies in the LLVM Intermediate Representation”, under supervision of Nuno Lopes, INESC-ID researcher in high-performance computing architectures and systems.

The ceremony was held on 27 June, within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Days at Instituto Superior Técnico. The award was established to honour Professor Luís Vidigal and aims to promote scientific excellence by distinguishing the best annual master’s dissertation in the fields of Electric Engineering and Computer Engineering.
