Noite Europeia dos Investigadores 2026
On 25 September, Jardins do Palácio Marquês de Pombal will be one of the stages for the Noite Europeia dos Investigadores (European Researcher’s Night) 2026, an event fully dedicated to science featuring games, interactive activities, talks and exhibits.
This year, INESC-ID will participate with projects SOLAR-MOVE and Shift2DC with activities that are sure to empower all of those curious to learn more about using sustainable energy solutions for mobility:
- SOLAR-MOVE: Veículos Elétricos Movidos a Energia Solar (SOLAR-MOVE: Solar Powered Electric Vehicles)
- Vem Saber como Podemos Tornar os Portos mais Sustentáveis! (Know how We can Make Ports more Sustainable!)
The European Researchers’ Night is a cultural event that promotes scientific culture and is open to the general public. This celebration of science unfolds through hundreds of free activities taking place simultaneously in several European cities, always on the last Friday of September. The 2026 edition is under the “BRIDGES for Science: Engaging Researchers, Schools, and Citizens for a Sustainable Future in Europe” project, coordinated by ITQB NOVA.
