Applications are open for the 5th edition of the “Vencer o Adamastor” (“Beating the Adamastor”) Award, an initiative by INESC and Público to recognise innovative work by young scientists, developed in Portugal, in the fields of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), including electrical engineering and computation.

This €20,000 prize will be awarded to the candidate who demonstrates a clear ability to produce high quality scientific work, a vision for future scientific and technological developments in their respective area of ​​research, and the potential to deliver real benefits to society.
