AI, Data, Robotics Forum (ADRF 2026)
The AI, Data and Robotics Forum 2026 (ADRF26) is one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to advancing innovation and technological transformation in AI, data and robotics. Taking place in Porto, Portugal, the forum will bring together around 500 experts, innovators, policymakers and industry representatives to discuss Europe’s digital future and technological competitiveness. Organised by INESC TEC and ADRA, with the involvement of the European Commission, ADRF26 serves as a high-impact platform for strategic dialogue, collaboration and networking across academia, industry and policy. Through visionary keynotes, high-level panels, parallel sessions, project showcases and exhibition spaces, the event will explore emerging trends, address key industrial and societal challenges, foster new partnerships, and accelerate Europe’s AI, data and robotics agenda.
INESC‑ID has recently joined ADRA, strengthening its presence in the European AI ecosystem, and will participate in the Forum, represented by:
- Sílvia Castro, Head of the Innovation Management Office, participating on the panel “Futuring AI Skills in the European Union: Exploring Skills Gaps in key strategic industrial domains” (13 October)
- Ana Paiva, Senior Researcher in Artificial Intelligence for People and Society, participating in two sessions: “What is the future of science in the world of AI?” and “Physical AI, Robotics and Computational Biology as a Compass for Europe Competitiveness” (14 October)
- Arlindo Oliveira, Senior Researcher and President of INESC, participating in the Plenary Session “The Catalyst Manifesto” with Emanuela Girardi, president of ADRA (14 October)
