Yesterday, 27 January, the INESC-ID Board of Directors met at Técnico Oeiras Campus for a Strategic Meeting.

The first item on the agenda was a strategic brainstorming session. Participants were divided into groups to discuss various key questions for the future of INESC-ID and its expected development as an institution over the next decade. As part of the discussion, the ten scientific and technological areas that make up the research activity of INESC-ID were also analysed.

To conclude the agenda, the members of the Board went over the Strategic Plan of INESC-ID, an opportunity to review directions and priorities, aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the institution. These meetings are crucial to plan a strong strategy, well-grounded on our five core pillars and capable of ensuring long-term commitment to scientific excellence, talent development, and societal impact.
