The BIG ERA Chair Project is pleased to announce the BIG ERA Chair Closing Conference, which will take place on October 27th, 2025, from 09h00-13h00, at Instituto Superior Técnico, Pavilhão de Minas, Sala IA.

The BIG closing conference’s goal is to showcase the main achievements of the BIG project while also providing a platform for all stakeholders working in Blockchain-related areas (academia, industry, government, civil society) to present case studies, discuss the state of the art, and challenges of this field of study. The BIG closing conference will feature a keynote from Diogo Mónica (co-founder and Executive Chairman of Anchorage Digital), as well as the presentation of the BIG Lab research highlights by the project’s research team members, and an industry and society panel. 

Registration is free, although mandatory. Interested participants should visit the BIG ERA Chair website to register and access more information about the agenda, speakers, and location.

 
The BIG ERA Chair Closing Conference is organised in the scope of the BIG ERA Chair Project (GA 952226), a project funded by the European Commission involving INESC-ID, IST and ITI-LARSyS.
