Noite Europeia dos Investigadores 2025

Noite Europeia dos Investigadores 2025

On September 26, the Oeiras Marina will host the Noite Europeia dos Investigadores (European Researchers’ Night) 2025, bringing science closer to the community with dozens of interactive activities, talks, and live performances.

INESC-ID will participate with a stand featuring volunteers from the EV4EU, ATEiProlepsis (Human Lab), and Engenharia para Todos projects. This year’s theme focuses on inclusion in science, giving voice to underrepresented groups and reinforcing the role of schools and society in building knowledge.

The European Researchers’ Night is a cultural event that promotes scientific culture and is open to the general public. This celebration of science unfolds through hundreds of free activities taking place simultaneously in several European cities, always on the last Friday of September. The 2024–2025 edition, under the EU-EMBRACES consortium (Empowering Minds: Boosting Research in Citizen Engagement and Schools), includes the event in Oeiras and is coordinated by ITQB NOVA.
